We had a great weekend up in Erie, PA. I took more than 200 pictures with the new Canon S410. I’m still getting used to it because it’s so small, but I think I’m really going to like it. I still need to get used to the size. It’s so small that I actually move the camera a little when I press the button to take a picture sometimes. Makes the pictures a little out of focus at times, but I’m getting better at it.

Take a trip back in time with me. Take your mind back to a time when you were in High School. Maybe a Senior. Everything was in front of you. Your biggest problems were gas money, tests, and possibly where you were going to college. Remember all those big dreams and plans? Good. Keep your mind in that place. Relax. Now answer this question for me – is this where you thought you’d be? Is this what you expected? Every person I asked this too just laughed and said “no way!”

So I ask you – why not? It’s never too late to do something about it. This hit me today during a meeting as all the words that everyone was saying just turned in to one big garbled mess. This isn’t what I signed on for. Maybe you didn’t either. But we all do the best that we can. I guess that sometimes, that’s all you can ask for. Maybe it’s time to shake things up a little bit though. I wonder what ever happened to that wanna-be rock star that I used to be at 17?
