Apple recently announced upgrades to their iBook and Mac Mini lines. Many of you know that I am a big fan of Apple’s OS X operating system and I love my PowerBook. But while these latest upgrades give a slight speed bump and include some things that were previously available as build to order items for more money, I am not too excited. Don’t get me wrong, they are great products, but I already own a bunch of Apple products. There was nothing there to make me open the wallet again and buy new.

I am what most manufacturers want, I have some disposable income and I’m not afraid to use it to remain an early adopter of technology. Apple has spoiled me with many of their products and now I find myself in the position of wanting to get the next best thing, but it just doesn’t exist yet.
