I had wanted to take a bunch of pictures of Vegas and post them here every night but that just isn’t working out as planned. The conference sessions go on all day and then there is an activity at night. I don’t carry my camera around with me so I just hit a few slot machines on the way back to my room and go to sleep for the night. In case you were wondering, the slots here are very unfriendly to me so far.
There is a big Sumo wrestling thing happening here in the same hotel and there are all these huge, I mean huge, Sumo wrestlers all over the hotel. Massive. I’ve never been the smallest guy in the room before and I’m pretty sure they could snap me like a twig, so I’m doing my best to ignore all the noise they are making in the hallway outside my room right now at midnight.
The conference is going well and for the first time in a long time I think Citrix actually has a real story to tell with an actual direction. I’m pretty excited to figure out how we get to the latest version of all of their software when I get back at work.
I probably won’t have a chance to take any pictures Tuesday since it is the busiest day of the conference and the day ends with a party at the House Of Blues with Jim Belushi and his band performing. I hope to at least get pictures from the party. Wednesday will be my best chance for getting pictures of Vegas since that is a pretty light day here.
For now, thisone picture I took a little earlier in the day will have to do. Click on the picture for a larger version.
