Let’s be honest. Could you really see yourself buying the music of any of the remaining American Idol contestants?
As I look back through the years of this show, Kelly and Carrie are the only ones that stand out to me. I wouldn’t spend any money on the rest of them, and this is all about money.
After watching Elvis week who do you think should go home? For me it’s got to be Katharine. She started out really strong and then something strange happened; she seemed to start believing her press and now comes across as a little smug to me. Her songs were terrible last night. I wonder how many votes she would get if she was not as attractive as she is. My guess, not many. I think Paris would have done a better job with Elvis week.
Chris has been less and less impressive over the last few weeks, and Elliott still uses way too much vibrato in his voice for me. That drives me crazy. I thought Taylor did a good job but I expected him to do well from the time they announced it was going to be Elvis week.
From best to worst, here’s how I thought it went:
Taylor, Elliott, Chris, Katharine. Katharine would be my vote for elimination tonight. She’ll make a great model but she doesn’t have enough vocal talent to win this competition. Let’s see how I do.
