I just read about an excellent WordPress plugin for the iPhone and the iPod Touch called iWPhone WordPress Plugin and Theme.

It’s almost too easy. I was starting to mess around with detecting the iPhone via wordpress when someone else has done all the work with a simple theme and plugin. Fantastic job. So now when you hit this site with an iPhone or iPod Touch you will find it is formatted very nicely for you.

I picked up a 16GB Touch this week and have to say it is awesome. I really don’t know that I care too much that it is an iPod. I care more that it is almost an iPhone without the monthly bill. I really wanted the portable browser and apps more than anything. I know I can get to just about everything I want via the built in web browser but I would like to have Mail, Google Maps, a Calendar that I can edit and Calendar that has categories. It is so close to being perfect for me, but it is very close. I’ll just use all the great web based stuff people are creating for this platform until Apple finally gives in and let’s us have the same apps as the iPhone. But I won’t hold my breath.
