My passion is technology. All technology. It doesn’t matter to me who creates it. My career is in the technology field. I’ve always been as technical as I need to be in any given situation. I have no problem calling “B.S.” when a vendor is slinging it – the rant part of me – and I have no problem with praise – the rave part of me – when they get it right. Technology is the easy part. Always has been.
Parenting, on the other hand, is the hard part. It’s fun, frustrating, and nearly every other emotion you can think of. There is no manual for this stuff, you do your best. Hopefully, it gets easier for you as time passes and your children become productive members of society.
Technology is my passion. Parenting is an honor.
The rest is all random information that I feel like talking about.
The only subject I do not deal with on this site is my job. I try very hard to keep the two sides separate, so you won’t find anything about my employer here, because I really enjoy being employed!
Why blindsquirrel? Because there is a saying out there that goes “even a blind squirrel eventually finds an acorn” that I have always related to. Many times in my life I have fallen in to certain things that were not part of “the plan” but ended up working out great. Maybe it is just luck, but the saying has always hit home with me so I grabbed the domain name when I first got in to the Internet some time in the late 90′s.
Lastly, if you visit this site from a web browser you will find that it looks different nearly every week. This is because I am never happy with how the site looks. If you are looking for consistency, I recommend the feed and your own feed reader.
